BEHIND THE SCENES

Traditional meets contemporary. A 19th-century Co Traditional meets contemporary.

A 19th-century Coromandel screen serves as an architectural headwall, introducing scale, narrative, and surface depth within an otherwise restrained interior. The lacquered six-panel screen anchors the room in history while reinforcing symmetry and proportion in a contemporary framework.

I believe a home should reflect who you are, what I believe a home should reflect who you are, what you love, and how you live.

The space is built through layering, scale, and material expression.

Celebrated icons sit next to forgotten objects with honest bones, each carrying the trace of its maker and its use.

At its heart, an early 20th-century Byōbu screen anchors the space and shifts with the light.

The sling chair, designed in collaboration with @artemest, makes the entrance and sets the tone.

Clouds by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Kvadrat,
mounted high on the wall, adds a playful contrast to the otherwise quiet backdrop.

One of my favorites is a mother-of-pearl pedestal cabinet, inherited from my late grandmother. A personal counterpoint where history lives within a contemporary composition.

A study in quiet material experimentation,
a lived-in vintage gallery,
a curation of objects I love, collected over time.
Some kept for what they are, others for what they hold.
